Mesut Ozil has hailed Tomas Rosicky for his contributions for Arsenal over the years and has rated him as one of the best league players at the moment.
Rosicky had found the back of the net for the Gunners in their FA Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur about 10 days back. Arsenal had won that game by 2-0 and had moved ahead to the fourth round of the tournament.
Rosicky can now be considered as an Arsenal veteran. He has been at the club since a long time and has already played close to 150 league matches.
As far as his form in the 2013-14 Season is concerned, it has been as good as anyone in the Arsenal squad. He has featured in 13 league games so far and has put up solid performances.
Arsenal had bought Rosicky from the German club Borussia Dortmund 7 and half years back in 2006.
Ozil who himself has become a superstar at the Emirates Stadium in a very short period of time was full of praise for his 33 years old team member in one of his interviews yesterday.
When asked about Rosicky, the German player said, “I don’t think there are too many players in the league who can play better than Tomas in the midfield. He is a player who always makes useful contributions.”
When asked how his life has been at Arsenal so far, Ozil said, “Arsenal is similar to what I had expected it to be. I had the idea that they put emphasis on technique and those sorts of things.”
“The coaching structure at this club is amazing and that’s why, some quality players have come out of the club academy.”
Ozil has so far scored 4 league goals for Arsenal this season.
